Public exhibition and peepshow in a demolition area (former prostitution area).
One by one all the residents had to leave their houses. The so called void property was closed off with metal panels to prevent squatting and vandalism. We put up posters with historical photos of the area, illustrations of anecdotes and photos we copied from family albums of former residents.
When the last family moved out, the Museumstreet was finished. The streets were closed off to traffic, benches were placed and a museum-shop was opened (selling things people had left in the abandoned houses). One day after the opening the demolition started.
